Community
Community
In 2012, NAHN Oregon had the great pleasure of connecting with hundreds of health care professionals of color in Oregon and participating in several events in the community.
We had the privilege of supporting several causes such as the Chemeketa College Latino Gala where hundreds of dollars were raised to support Latino students. We also walked the streets of Hillsboro and Cornelius, bringing awareness to health and mobility in our Latino communities as we celebrated the newest Virgina Garcia Wellness Center. In addition, we partnered with the Office of Equity and Inclusion to increase access to healthcare and cultural competence.
